New York Pizza in Jacksonville - Day 1

Just pulled into Jacksonville and immediately found my way to Tony's New York Style Pizza out on St. Augustine Rd, South of town near where I-295 meets I-95.  I was excited as I approached the place-- how can you go wrong with a place called Tony's New York Style Pizza???  The answer is you can't go wrong.

I walked in to hear Van Morrison playing "Into the Mystic" and I was very pleased-- I've been on a Van Morrison kick lately.  A mural of the Statue of Liberty on the wall, pictures of gondolas and other scenes from Italy hanging about.  We ordered slices and were very pleased.  No Sicilian Slices were available-- that gave them a 90 on the Sliker Rating System.  A 4 stars out of 5 on the Yummy scale-- very good stuff!
