Hurricane Mikey says Thumbs Up to New York Pizza

I had an incomplete blog awhile back about Pizza in Vegas.  I had a really great slice right along the strip, on the West side, somewhere between New York New York and the Bellagio, probably closer to the Bellagio.  I've been a little frustrated that I couldn't remember the name or the exact location. 

 So today I'm noting Hurricane Mikey's endorsement  of New York Pizza & Pasta as the best New York Style Pizza in Vegas.  Thanks, Mikey, for the valuable info.

I forgot to mention, the place you were thinking of was Presto Pizza. It no longer stands. It was torn down, along with the scooter rental shop next door, to make room for new construction. Until then, it was my favorite on the strip. -Gavin

Mikey ain't lying. Based on his comments, I hit Metro with a few other Zealots of Za back in March (along with 6 other Vegas pie joints). We found Metro to be tolerable, but NYP&P was by FAR the clear winner. I invite you to check the reviews at http://www.zealotsofza.com, as well as few of the NY-Style pizza places Colorado has to offer. Power to the Pizza. -Gavin
