New York Style Pizza in Chicago and Everywhere!
Well, after several weeks of burning the candle at both ends, I've completely redesigned and re-architected the www.NewYorkPizzaFinder.com Web site. The site is now totally database driven, uses XML files, and includes Google Maps mash-up.
The last time I was in Atlanta, I wanted to find some New York Style Pizza and realized that the site was inadequate for the traveller seeking good pizza. It was just a list of places and reviews, but with no real sense of space and locality. But now, with the Google Maps integration, I hope you will find it greatly improved. Check out the New York Style Pizza in Atlanta Page, and you'll see a much better tool for finding a great place to get a slice.
There's no doubt that my blog about New York Style Pizza in Chicago consistently generates the most page views and has generated the most comments. On the New York Pizza Finder site, you'll now find a much more up to date page about New York Style Pizza in Chicago.
The good news is that THERE IS GOOD NEW YORK STYLE PIZZA in ChicagoLand. I'll be going to Chicago in July and there are at least two places I can't wait to try. More on that later...

Man Cuts Off Penis In Pizza Parlour
Surgeons battling to save a man's penis after he hacked it off in a restaurant have sewn it back on - in the first operation of its kind in the UK.
Stunned witnesses told how the man jumped up onto a table, dropped his trousers and cut his penis off in front of horrified diners in a packed pizza restaurant.
Police sprayed the deranged man with CS gas before recovering his lost organ from the restaurant floor.
Surgeons at St Thomas's Hospital have attempted to reattach his missing appendage, but have not yet confirmed whether it was a success.
The Royal College of Surgeons said that it was the first time that the operation had been attempted in this country.
The 35 year-old Polish man seized a knife from the kitchen before slicing off his manhood in Zizzi's pizza restaurant on the Strand on Sunday evening, stunning the runners and spectators who had flocked to the eaterie after the London marathon.
A witness described how diners who had been enjoying meal screamed and fled as the man waved the knife in the air, and several people were treated for shock after witnessing the horrific spectacle.
Stuart McMahon, a sales rep who was in the restaurant, said: "This guy came running in then charged into the kitchen, got a massive knife and started waving it about.
"Everyone was screaming and running out as he jumped on a table, dropped his trousers and popped his penis out. Then he cut it off. I couldn't believe it.
"The staff were really upset and there was blood everywhere."
Police are still trying to identify the man, who will be assessed by psychiatrists and is expected to be detained under the Mental Health Act for his own safety.
A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: "We were called at 9.00pm on Sunday to a restaurant on the Strand to reports of a man in possession of a knife.
"Officers attended to discover a man believed to be 30-40 years old suffering from an injury.
"He was taken to a south London hospital in a stable condition. No one else was injured and his injuries are believed to be self inflicted."
